One Leadership Tip: Day 43: Resilience

Day 43: Resilience

Saw Spider-Man last night with the kiddos…
It was good but I think the bar had been set a bit high from some of my friends on the socials who had been posting about it being one of the best movies ever!

Which led to it being a bit of a letdown. I’m not sure it cracks the top 5 for me in the Marvel series.

Regardless it was time spent and memories made with the little ones that really matters most for me.

Which brings me to the ONE LEADERSHIP TIP for today:

As leaders often times it’s the choices in the face of the highest resilience that are the ones that matter most.

As you may imagine those are also the most difficult ones to make being that it’s in moments of great resilience.

One way to prepare yourself and to be able to trust you to make the right decisions and the people around you to execute at a high level in those moments is to train often and to replicate those scenarios as closely as possible in day to day preparation and training.

To not shy away from opportunities to be in resilient situations often.

That’s it for today Big Shoots!
