Day 131: Stay Ready
Have you ever been in this kind of situation?
* Your friends wanted to have a vacation on a beautiful beach that you were dreading going to go to but you gained a few pounds and were hesitant to join them.
* There is a business opportunity knocking at you and an interested investor is willing to partner with you but you have not attended any conference related to the business.
* A family member that lives out of town comes to visit and decides to have a last-minute dinner but you decide not to join because of wardrobe problems.
Opportunity rarely comes twice. All of us have our own busy schedules and have to maintain our careers, family, and friends and oftentimes we feel overwhelmed and get stressed out. We tend to shy away from opportunities because we feel that we are not ready. Staying ready does not mean you have to be at your best and can perform at your highest peak; rather it is being flexible with the circumstances. Staying ready is being open to the possibility of failures and imperfection. By staying ready, we are giving ourselves the opportunity to explore what the world has to offer.

“In order to stay ready, we should get ready and before we can get ready we have to decide on who it is that we want to become.”
“We do not always know when the opportunities are going to arise but we have this belief and faith that it will come, and if that moment will happen can you answer the question: Will you be prepared? Will you get yourself ready ahead of time knowing that you do not want to miss out?”
