Day 119: Keep Putting Yourself Out There
Have you ever come across someone who would rather stay home, watch Netflix and shop online than go outside and socialize?
With all the available cutting-edge technology within our grasp, everything is made easy and possible with just a click away. We are in an era where we do not need to go to a blockbuster to rent a movie, we can buy anything online without going to the supermarket and even attend a conference without going to the office. Some will say that it is a great time to be alive, and then eventually get caught in their comfort zone thus making their life into auto-pilot.
Putting yourself out there applies to almost everyone- entrepreneurs starting a business, new college graduates looking for a job and even single people looking for a lifetime partner. Sure it can be hard and scary at first because you do not know what to expect, but one way or another we need to grow and the only way is to take our chances and open our life to possibilities.
Life is full of surprises; we will never know what is out there unless we step up and open our life to new experiences.
Join Coach Nate as he talks about the power and his experiences of putting himself out there.
“There’s just the power of putting yourself out there because there’s plenty of opportunities for me to talk myself out of every single one of them.”
“Every time that I’ve been to, or had an event or an experience myself, and people decide to show up, put themselves out there. Never once did they regret it, and always the comment has been man. I’m so glad I showed up, man, I’m so glad that she called me and talked to me.”
“If you’re not willing to put yourself out there, if you’re not willing to do that mental work with yourself, to fight through the resistance, to show up, then you are going to be stuck.”
