About The Guest:
Together with her mother, Maria Camila emigrated from Medellin, Colombia to the United States at 10 years old. She grew up in the state of Florida where she graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and minor in Business. On her first full year in Real Estate, Maria Camila Betancur closed her first millions dollar deal where she represented the buyer. That was one amongst her 30+ transactions that same year, giving her plenty of exposure to quickly become very knowledgeable in the field and known in the Luxury Market.
Though these powerhouses may be the backbone of her clientele, Maria has always welcomed all types of clients. “No matter the price range I’m working in, it’s a tremendous pleasure helping someone buy or sell their home and fulfill their dreams.” Maria’s motto is “Make a customer, not a sale” she believes in treating and advising all her clients as she would with family.
Being in the Real Estate business for many successful years, along with her charisma, positive energy, knowledge and honesty, has gained her many buyers and sellers, and their recommendations to others that result in repeat referral business. Furthermore, with her bachelors in Criminal Justice Maria is able to apply many skills from research, law, rules and regulations, as well as her strong determination and impeccable work ethic. Maria lives in Miami, where she spends her rare free time doing water activities, mindful practices such as mediation and yoga, traveling, reading books and enjoying the company of her family and friends. An avid philanthropist, she supports various charities that include local organizations such as Miami Model Citizens, where she is an active ambassador.
